About the Author Picture: Tomoya Hirabayashi Text: Kentaro Oshima Illustrations by Tomoya Hirabayashi Born in Kagoshima and raised in Osaka. Graduated from Kobe University, Faculty of Developmental Sciences, Department of Human Development, Elementary Education Course. After graduation, he somehow became a band member and is currently active as a guitarist in two bands, PRIMAL CURVE and 1129 (Double One to Nine). While working for a music company, he taught himself design and started his own brand [FLATGROVE] around 2015, developing goods*apparel using his illustrations. Became a freelance designer in 2019. Launched a charity project [#KeepHope] in 2020, donating proceeds to live music venues OSAKA RUIDO and Kyobashi Arc. With his friends, he launched [#Tomoshibi Project], which transcends the boundaries of bands and focuses on music and picture books, writing lyrics and directing the project as the general director. He started a new project "nemo" by two band members, Tomoya Hirabayashi and Kentaro Oshima, to create picture books for both children and adults to enjoy. |
