| The lightweight bowl is easy to hold and wash, even when serving food. Each bowl is hand-painted. The artisanal techniques cultivated over many years are used to create these bowls, which are painted with a spontaneous touch of the brush. Because they are hand-painted, there may be slight differences in color and pattern. Hasami-yaki is ceramics produced in Hasami-cho, Higashisonogi-gun, Nagasaki Prefecture. Hasami-cho in Nagasaki Prefecture is adjacent to Arita-cho in Saga Prefecture, and like Arita-yaki, Hasami-yaki ceramics have a tradition of over 400 years. |
