Description
Miyama kikyoh -Snack Stacked Box (Body only), porcelain white This is a stacked box for snacks from the kikyoh series (sold separately). The Kikyoh flower has both a delicate beauty and a dignified strength. The white porcelain container depicts the flower's shape. It would be wonderful to stack several layers of different colors for a coordinated look. The white porcelain clay is made into a thin layer and fired at a high temperature of 1,340°C. The thinness of the clay makes it slightly translucent. The thinness of the clay allows the bamboo leaves to become slightly transparent and appear to float, reminding one of a scene seen through a shoji (paper sliding door). You will enjoy the nostalgic tactile feeling of the clay when you touch and use it. [Glazed Copperplate Vase] Risen Pottery, located in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture, was the first pottery in Japan to produce underglaze glazed copperplate transfer ware about 150 years ago. These are vessels made by a painting technique with luster and texture, based on the technique of the now-defunct kiln and using a different paint mixture. *This product is sold only as a stacked box. The lid is not included. *The color of the design may vary individually due to manufacturing reasons. Recommended uses: mini-size stacked boxes, small bowls for snacks, small container for small articles, salad bowls, simmered dish bowls, storage containers, etc. Click here to see other items in the *[kikyoh] series / Series Item *Click here to see the list of new items in order of arrival / New Item *Click here to view Popularity |
