This is a very American pop wall clock with MDF material and double bubble gum design on the board. When I was a child, I didn't look at analog clocks at all, but I remember glancing at the clock as the 3 o'clock snack approached. This clock is perfect for such children. Since its establishment in 1928, Dubble Bubble Bubble Gum has been loved by countless children and is said to be the first gum that popularized the practice of blowing soap bubbles. At the time, the gum contained color comic strips known as Fleer Funnies, featuring the BUBBLE DUBBLE characters Dubb and Bub (later replaced by Pud), which grew in popularity and were distributed as part of military rations during World War II. |
