A small teacup and saucer with a ruffled design and a sense of fashion. *Athens shape... A large, elegant design that became popular as tea became more common. *[Orchard Gold] series Still Life Fruits" was Ainsley's signature design for over 100 years. Based on this design, Mr. Stephen Bardsley completed the Orchard Gold in 1980. The use of pure gold on a golden background expressed abundance. The work celebrates the harvest of fruitful fruit. *All materials used are fine bone* bone china. Ainsley's Fine* Bone China specifies a minimum of 51% beef bone meal, It is robust, scratch-resistant, semi-permanently white and transparent, and has excellent heat retention properties. The firing temperature of unglazed porcelain is 1150℃. After painting, different firing temperatures are used for different colors. *Warm and mellow colors are created by the "fog spray technique. [The "fog spray technique" is a technique in which a glaze is applied after unglazing to give a glossy finish, After re-firing, the entire piece is sprayed with paint in a mist-like spray. Before the paint dries, the craftsman manually wipes off the unwanted areas with a special cloth to remove the color. The effect of the fogging technique produces a warm and mellow coloring. *Hand Painting and Silk Screen Transfer Technique Hand painting, as the name suggests, is completed by the hand of each painter. Ainsley's silkscreen transfer paper technique is a handmade technique in which each sheet of transfer paper is carefully applied by hand by a transfer paper craftsman who has dedicated himself to the technique. Therefore, even with the transfer paper technique, each piece of work is unique in design. The design of each piece is unique. Ainsley is a famous British pottery, founded in England in 1775. ■「オーチャードゴールド」シリーズ
100年以上、エインズレイを代表するデザインだった「Still Life Fruits」。
このデザインを基に、1980年、Mr. Stephen Bardsleyがオーチャードゴールドを完成させました。
金色の背景に純金を使用することにより、豊かさを表現しました。実りあるフルーツの収穫を祝った作品です。
■素材はすべてファインボーン・ボーンチャイナを使用。
エインズレイのファイン・ボーンチャイナは牛骨粉の配合を51%以上と規定、
堅牢で傷がつきにくく、半永久的に白く透明感を保ち、更に保温性に優れております。
素焼きの焼成温度は1150度を使用しております。
絵付け後の焼成温度は色によって異なった焼成温度を使用しております。
■温かみのある、まろやかな彩色の「霧吹き技法」
「霧吹き技法」とは、素焼き後グレーズと呼ばれる艶をだすための釉薬がかけられ、
再度焼成した後、全体に霧吹きのように塗料を噴霧いたします。
塗料が乾燥する前に、職人が手作業で、色の不要な部分を、専用の布で拭きあげて色を拭き取っていきます。
霧拭き技法による彩色の効果によって、温かみのある、まろやかな彩色が表現されます。
■ハンドペントとシルクスクリーン転写技法
ハンドペイントは、その字のごとく絵付け師（ペインター）一人一人の手描きで完成されてゆきます。
エインズレイのシルクスクリーン転写紙技法は、その道一筋の転写紙職人が、転写紙一枚一枚を丁寧に手で貼ってゆくハンド転写という手作りに拘った技法です。
ですので、転写紙技法であっても、作品一つ一つが全てことなるデザインとなって生まれてきます。
