Originally called Best Select or Pabst Select, it became [Pabst Blue Ribbon] after the blue ribbon that was wrapped around the neck of the bottle between 1882 and 1916. There was a period of stagnation in the past, but sales started to recover around the year 2000. This seems to be mainly due to its popularity among fashion-conscious fashionistas in urban areas. Pabst Blue Ribbonは、一般にPBRと略称され、1844 年にウィスコンシン州ミルウォーキーに設立された昔ながらのアメリカンラガービール♪
当初はBest SelectやPabst Select と呼ばれましたが、1882 年から 1916 年の間にボトルの首に巻かれていた青いリボンに由来して、『Pabst Blue Ribbon』になりました。
以前は低迷に時代もありましたが、2000年ぐらいから売上が回復。これは主に都市部の流行に敏感なオシャレさんたちの間で人気出たからみたいですよ♪
