Warm hand-knit cable knit long cardigan [MATERIAL] Baby alpaca blend and non-ply wool yarns are intertwined. The new design is lighter and softer than past designs. The cable-knit is a thick (extra-thick count) low-gauge knit using wool from Peru in South America, which has a unique texture. Peruvian knitwear is made by hand by knitters who have lived along the shores of Lake Titicaca for centuries, and each piece is carefully and wholeheartedly produced by hand pongee. Because the yarns are hand-silked during the dry season, they have less oil*moisture than wool from other regions, and are characterized by their light weight despite their volume. It also has excellent heat retention properties because it can store more air. And the biggest attraction is the warmth of the handmade atmosphere. Because the work is done in nature, the yarns may contain straw or wood shavings, and the size of each piece may differ slightly due to different knitters for each part. These one-of-a-kind products have been long sellers in Japan. [DESIGN&COORDINATE] Full of the warmth of hand-knits unique to Peruvian knitwear This cable-knit cardigan is knit with a zakkuri knitting technique. The extra-thick yarn is roughly knitted into a cable knit, and the knitting pattern is varied to create a piece with a sense of presence that is full of techniques unique to knit items. The oversized, drop-shoulder design gives it a loose feel, so just throw it on and enjoy the trend-setting styling. Despite its appearance, it is lightweight and warm, and can be worn over thin cut-and-sew or sleeveless items at the start of fall. In full-blown winter, it can be worn over knitwear or inner down as an outer layer in place of a coat.
