Yu Yamauchi, a photographer who has been on a journey to explore the distance between nature and humans, commuted to Yakushima Island for nine years, His work is the result of his repeated solitary retreats in the forests of Yakushima for nine years. The work is a record of a dialogue with another dimension, visualizing through the camera the relationship between his own inner mind and nature. Yu Yamauchi is a photographer who explores the fundamental nature of the world through the relationship between nature and human beings by staying in nature for long periods of time. After "Dawn", in which Yamauchi spent 600 days in a mountain lodge at the seventh station of Mt. Fuji, and "Planet", in which he traveled throughout Mongolia for five years and focused on the multidimensional structure of the world with various time axes, he arrived at a point of arrival.
