常滑焼（とこなめやき）は、平安時代後期から1,000年の歴史を有し、日本六古窯のひとつに数えられる焼き物産地です。昭和51年6月11日、国の「伝統的工芸品産業の振興に関する法律」に基づき伝統的工芸品として産地指定を受けました。
■口先が下に向いており湯切れが良く使い心地抜群です。
■茶葉が細かい深蒸し茶も安心して使うことの出来るステンレス製の茶漉しを採用しています。
■3人分の容量とお考えください（1人100mlとして）
■若草陶土を1100度で焼成しています。素材に有害な物質は含まれていません。
■表面にはロクロにより伝統技法のトビカンナが施されています。
■蓋と本体は一対にする為すり合わせ作業を行います。その為蓋と本体に研磨した痕があります。
