| *GOTS Certified Organic Cotton GOTS (Global Organic* Textiles Standard) was developed by a leading international standard-setting organization to establish global rules to ensure that textile products are "properly organic" from raw material harvesting, through environmentally friendly and socially responsible manufacturing, to labeling that provides consumers with a reliable guarantee. The label was developed to establish a set of rules to ensure that textile products are properly organic. Cotton, as it is commonly distributed, is heavily fertilized with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in order to be produced efficiently in large quantities. Organic cotton, on the other hand, is grown exclusively with organic fertilizers, which contributes to healthier water and soil quality and reduced carbon dioxide emissions. When used, it also gently wraps food in pesticide-free materials that do not affect the body. Point 1.
