Born in Kanagawa, Japan. Studied oil painting at Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Painting.
After graduating from university, worked as an art teacher at a public junior high school.
After retiring from teaching, she began her career as a picture book artist. She received the Encouragement Award at the 6th Picture Book Publishing Award.
This is the third in the series of picture books by Rabi*Toto, following [Shiranai toto wo shiranai ka] and [Who Tasted It] (Mirai Publishing).
