| The Yalameh are an early settled group of the Qashqai people who weave the Gabbeh, and now live in large numbers scattered throughout the area between the ancient capital of Isfahan and Shiraz. They speak a language similar to Turkish, and their carpets are designed with geometric motifs similar to those of the Kilim.
