The pile is short and the rug is about 7-8 mm thick, with a thin, clean weave. Cotton is used for the warp and is tightly woven. The rug has been treated to give it a long-used vintage look, so please be aware that the pile may be worn away. The carpet itself is solid and can still be used for many years to come.
