Description
| This Japanese-made dish conveys the warmth of earthenware when you hold it in your hand. The soft, natural color of the glaze gives it a simple and natural finish. It is easy to use as an appetizer plate, a dessert plate, or an appetizer plate, and gently complements food. I think that a to-plate is a surprisingly important dish. Every time we eat a meal, we take it out of the cupboard and bring it to the dining table, but we often use makeshift dishes. For example, when it comes to mugs, they are particular about their favorite mugs. but when it comes to plates, they suddenly don't care about them. It is true that we rarely serve food on them, so they are not as important as plates when we think about what kind of food they go with. So, the existence of such a backstage dish is not there. So, let's shine a light on the backstage existence of the dish! Dish! Come to the front! I feel like exaggerating. When I think about the requirements for a usable dish, the two non-negotiables are "size" and "depth. The size should be larger than a small plate and smaller than a bread plate, etc. In other words, it should be about 15cm to 16cm in diameter. In other words, it would be like a 5" plate about 15cm-16cm in diameter. This time, I made an octagonal plate with a corner cutout. I felt that a simple circular plate would be a bit bland. If it is too large, the food will be dispersed when placed on the plate, and if it is too small, it lacks a sense of security when sharing the food. You can see that the plate is not a solid octagonal shape, but rather a gently rounded shape. A solid, clean octagonal shape would look somewhat pretentious, and while it might be good for placing food on, I thought it would lack the friendliness of a tori-dish. A tori-dish should be able to accommodate any kind of food. I really want it to be deep enough to be used safely even for soupy dishes. This "Octagonal Tori Dish" has a nice raised rim, which is obvious when viewed from the side. This angle is just right to make it easy to pick up. If it is flat like a plate, it may be difficult to lift it by hand. With this perfect rise, there is no stress when lifting the plate. The hand can easily enter the backside of the plate and lift it comfortably.
