| These cushion covers are made of interior fabrics used for furniture and curtains. Turkey is a major producer of textiles and fabrics, many of which are exported to Europe. This classical fabric has an image of damask weaving, which is said to have originated in Damascus, a large city that was the center of commerce and trade during the Byzantine Empire in the Middle Ages. In the Middle Ages, silk was used for damask weaving, and different colored threads were used for the warp and weft to create different contrasts depending on the direction of light. Depending on the direction of the light, the base color of this cushion cover can be clearly seen, or the beige of the design can be seen, giving it a different look.
