Mystic Topaz is a topaz coated with a physical vapor deposition (PVD) process. The treatment is applied to the finest natural white topaz, but is permanent under normal use. This treatment gives the stone an iridescent appearance. The brilliance changes depending on the light, such as sunlight or fluorescent light, and the color of the stone appears to change depending on the angle from which it is viewed. |
