*We conduct quality inspections to check that the clasp opens and closes properly.
Items that open and close without issue are considered acceptable.
While we remove items with functional defects or those that feel significantly off after inspection, there may be cases where there is a slight, subtle sensation, such as a slight squeak or grind.
This is a structural characteristic of plated products (since plating allows the plating metal or liquid to penetrate the interior), rather than an issue with unplated (base metal) items. Therefore, the phenomenon described above is a possibility with plated items such as pull rings, lobster clasps, and tube earrings.
