| Kimura Glass Shop was established in 1910. These glasses have been loved by professionals in many hotels and restaurants for many years. Recently, Kimura Glass has been used in many popular Italian and French restaurants and fashionable cafes and bars, as well as in select stores around Roppongi and Minami Aoyama, where its simple yet stylish design has attracted the attention of sophisticated people. We highly recommend this glassware to those who are particular about the little items that add color to their daily lives. Our company and Kimura Glass Shop have been in business for three generations. We have a wide variety of glassware that we are particular about. We are able to offer such a wide selection because we specialize in glassware. In the 1950s, in response to requests from kappo-ryotei (Japanese-style restaurants) and ryokan (Japanese-style inns), Nobuyuki Kimura, the second generation of the Kimura Glass Shop*, created this product, which has continued to be sold until now. The bottom is polished to make it look beautiful, and it won the [Long Life Design Award] at the Good Design Awards in 2014. |
