Please note that the following may occur with ceramic and glass products, even if they are A items. Please understand that these are unavoidable due to the manufacturing process and the quality of the product, and are a characteristic of the pottery product. Please understand that we may not be able to accept returns or exchanges.
*Differences in the shading of the pattern and the seams of the painting (shading and blotting of colors, and gaps in the pattern seams).
*Uneven glaze (uneven coloring or shading due to the degree to which the glaze has been applied)
*Small black spots (Iron oxidizes during firing in the kiln and forms black spots on the surface of the vessel. Large black dots or a large number of black dots are considered a "B" item.)
*Small pinholes (A phenomenon unique to ceramics in which organic matter on the glaze material is baked into small dents during glaze application. If they are large or numerous, they will be treated as "B" items.)
*Scratches and bubbles on glassware (due to the material's characteristic of being prone to small scratches)
*Small distortion (distortion may occur after molding. The edges may be slightly wavy) *Rattling (especially divider plates and platters may rattle a little)
*Slight errors in weight, size, and capacity (size is shown in external dimensions, capacity is shown when full of water)
