| This is a mug from the A Piece of CAKE series, artwork by the design duo "Eskimo. The artwork is reflected in the simple, linear form. [A Piece of CAKE" series. Artwork by eskimo]. [Artwork by Eskimo, a design duo that creates "convincing" products. Themes include environmental*social issues such as sustainable, SDGs, ethical, and culture. [With the concept of "art that grows with the child," the familiar motifs and simple compositions allow the viewer to enjoy the work in a sensory way. [The concept is "art that grows with the child. When children grow up and learn the meanings of the artworks, they will recognize the themes as their own, creating an opportunity for them to become interested in them and creating an environment in which they can discuss them as a family. [Why this naming: "A Piece of CAKE"] I wish for a future in which every problem can be solved someday [(it's) a piece of cake!] The name "A Piece of CAKE" was given with the hope that the future will continue to be solved with [(it's) a piece of cake! [How to paint?]] The artwork on which the design is based is digitally painted on board panels using the [masking technique]. The work is made to have a human touch by enriching the expression of the work and giving it an analog finish with materiality and warmth. ===== S1 tiger [deforestation] design *Artwork description:[deforestation](2022) Wild tigers are in danger of extinction due to poaching and deforestation caused by human greed. Similarly, natural disasters are driving all living things globally. Just as humans have driven the tiger into a corner, we cannot help ourselves. If we think of the environmental activities we need to do now as if they were about tigers living somewhere far away, tomorrow we ourselves will be in the same situation as the tigers. There is no more time to spare. S2 Camel [Means of transportation] design*Work description:[Means of transportation](2023) Since ancient times, the camel has been a symbol of coexistence with nature, deeply rooted in the culture and traditions of desert regions, and even today, it is the best means of transportation, except for the convenience and speed of cars. As such, they are still as active as ever in certain parts of the world, and they continue to find ways to benefit people while taking care of the environment. By learning, thinking, and considering from the past, humanity can evolve in a sustainable manner that is also environmentally friendly. ===== |

野生のトラは、人間の欲による密猟や森林破壊によって、絶滅の危機に瀕している。同じように自然災害によって、地球規模で生物全てが追い込まれている。トラを人間が追い込んだように、自分ではどうしようもできない。今すぐやらなければいけない環境活動を、どこか遠くに生きるトラの事のように考えていたら、明日には自分自身がトラと同じ境遇になる。もう余裕はないのだから。

昔からラクダは、砂漠地域の文化と伝統に深く根付いた自然との共存を象徴する存在であり、現代でも車の便益とスピードを除けば最適な交通手段と言える。このように世界の特定の場所では今も昔も変わらず活躍する存在がいて、環境に配慮しつつ人々のためになる方法を模索し続けている。人類は、過去から学び、考え、検討することで環境にも配慮した持続可能な進化をすることができる。
