The fabric is coated with black polyurethane on the reverse side, making this a functional umbrella with excellent light-blocking, UV protection, and heat-blocking properties(*). It also features a water-repellent* and waterproof finish, so you can use it even in sudden rain. *Light blockage and UV protection rates are 99.99% or higher for all colors (UPF rating: 50+ for all colors) It uses glass-fiber-reinforced plastic [glass-fiber ribs], which offers excellent strength and flexibility. The ribs are designed to be wind-resistant and resistant to breaking; even if the umbrella flips inside out in strong winds, it easily returns to its original shape. This folding umbrella opens and closes easily without snapping the ribs. It features a button-operated safety lock to prevent fingers or nails from getting pinched when closing the umbrella. |
