宇仁繊維社オリジナルの「和KOMONO」は、日本オリジナルにこだわり、
京都や北陸の工場で生産した素材小紋工房二越縮緬R（商標特許）を使用して、
京都の有名工房で「和KOMONO」として製品に作り上げたものです。
二越縮緬（ふたこしちりめん）とは、古代縮緬ともいわれる日本に伝わる織物のひとつである。
「越」は緯糸の数を表す単位で、右撚り一本、左撚り一本、と交互に織られるものが一越ちりめんと呼ばれ、
2本ずつ打ち込んだものが、二越ちりめんと呼ばれています。
一越より二越のほうが皺(しぼ)が大きく深くなっています。
ふんわりとした空気を含み、風合いが良く、薄くて伸縮性があり、ちりめんらしい織物であります。
