His first work [Shikisai Zukan: Traditional Colors of Japan Illustrated with Photographs] was selected as a National School Library Association Selected Book in 2021. It was also released in Taiwan in 2022 as Japan Color Pictures Story. The second work [Hyakushoku Zukan: Shikisai Kotonoha] was selected as a National School Library Association Selected Book in 2022. The fourth book in the series, Shikisai Zukan: Sky, Ice, and Flower Names, will be released in May 2024. |

Veketeho Kitayama
Born in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, 1974. Lives* and works in Nikko City.
Member of Shimono Photographic Society.
Winner of the Grand Prize of the 3rd Photography Publication Award.
His first work [Shikisai Zukan: Traditional Colors of Japan Illustrated with Photographs] was selected as a National School Library Association Selected Book in 2021.
It was also released in Taiwan in 2022 as Japan Color Pictures Story.
The second work [Hyakushoku Zukan: Shikisai Kotonoha] was selected as a National School Library Association Selected Book in 2022.
