Description
Material: porcelain Size:9.5 cm (diameter) X 1.8 cm (height) Box: not provided Made by: Seisukagama Kiln The Seikagama Kiln is a famous Kutaniyaki porcelain kiln for its inka-e (overglaze enamels). Seikagama is a Kutaniyaki kiln that has produced a number of popular products that harmonize the traditional patterns born in its 360-year history with the modern age. As the name of the [Kissho] series suggests, these small plates are all decorated with auspicious designs. The auspicious patterns are expressed in the Kutani ware style by imitating the Wind God and Thunder God by Tawaraya Somichi. It is a lucky charm to bring good luck, ward off evil, and pray for prosperity of descendants. The small pattern in the back [Aomiha] is also a lucky pattern. Kutani-yaki by Seisukagama is recommended for both daily use and as a gift because of its high quality. *The color and pattern of each item may differ slightly from the actual product. Please be aware of this in advance. |
