| About our products The blue color with a fine shimmering gradation of shades has a pattern of white dots like powder snow. Surrounding the pattern are larger tiles in a large, generative color with a strong presence, and a gentle floral motif brightens the blue in this traditional Lulibagh pattern. Due to the large [size], it is not very noticeable, but there is a difference in width, 171 cm at the top end and 166 cm at the bottom end, which is unique to hand weaving. The weave is very fine lulubafu, with 40 to 45 stitches per 10 cm, which is several times finer than that of ordinary Gabbeh. There is little shedding and the texture is soft and fluffy. When you step on it, you will feel it softly sink into the ground. Only the most skilled weavers can produce this superb handmade work. 濃淡のグラデーションが細かく揺らぐ青色には、粉雪のような白い点々模様。周囲には存在感のある大きめの生成りのタイル柄で、優しげな花のモチーフが青を明るく彩る伝統的なルリバフ柄です。大きな【サイズ】の為、あまり目立ちませんが上端で171センチ、下端で166センチと横幅に手織りならではの差があります。
織りは、10cmあたり、およそ40から45目という普通のギャッベの数倍にもなる大変細かなルリバフ。抜け毛が少なく、手触りはふわりと柔らか。踏んだ時やんわりと沈み込む踏み心地です。腕の良い選りすぐられた織り子だけが手掛ける極上の手仕事です。
