| About our products The natural texture is based on the undyed sheep color, which is the color of sheep's wool. The tree full of cypresses and flowers, symbols of strong life force, looks large and lively, but the natural gray and soft tones of honwari, yellow, and green give it a soft and calm atmosphere. The large [size] is not noticeable, but there is a unique hand-woven variation in width (157 and 154 cm) and length (245 and 243 cm) at the two ends. The weave is very fine lulubafu, with 40 to 45 stitches per 10 cm, which is several times more than that of a regular Gabbeh. There is little shedding and the texture is soft and fluffy. When you step on it, it is soft and comfortable to step on. Only the most skilled weavers can produce this superb handmade work. 羊の毛色をそのまま活かした無染色の羊色がベースのナチュラルな風合い。強い生命力のシンボルである糸杉と花いっぱいの木は大きく生気みなぎる様子ですが、ナチュラルなグレーとホンワリと黄色、グリーンなどの柔らかな調子で、ソフトで落ち着いた雰囲気です。大きな【サイズ】なので目立ちませんが、両端で幅157、154センチ、長さが245、243センチと手織りならではの差異があります。
織りは、10cmあたり、およそ40から45目という普通のギャッベの数倍にもなる大変細かなルリバフ。抜け毛が少なく、手触りはふわりと柔らか。踏んだ時やんわりと沈み込む踏み心地です。腕の良い選りすぐられた織り子だけが手掛ける極上の手仕事です。
