There is little shedding and the texture is soft and fluffy. When you step on it, you will feel it softly sink into the ground. This is the finest handmade work by only the most skilled and selected weavers. The colors may look slightly different under different lighting conditions. 織りは、10cmあたり、およそ40から45目という普通のギャッベの数倍にもなる大変細かなルリバフ。抜け毛が少なく、手触りはふわりと柔らか。踏んだ時やんわりと沈み込む踏み心地です。腕の良い選りすぐられた織り子だけが手掛ける極上の手仕事です。
照明の違いで色合いが多少違って見えます。また、ギャッベは毛足に向きがあるので、見る方向で、明るかったり暗かったりも見えます。
