ラティーフのコンセプトは「優しさ」。「Latif」(ラティーフ)は、ペルシア語で「柔らか」、「優しく美しい」、「繊細」という意味です。ギャッベはもともと遊牧民の女性が、心に浮かんだイメージだけで製図など無しに作られるものでした。絵を描くように、好きな色とデザインを、質の高いウールを使って、和やかな心で丁寧に織った優しさにあふれたギャッベです。
