| About our products This is a slightly older dated Gabbeh from the Kashgay tribe with a beautiful and tasteful withering red shimmer. The lion facing each other may be a guardian animal like the Japanese Koma-inu, but in Persia, the lion, a symbol of power, has been a popular antique design in Gabbeh for a long time. This traditional* Gabbeh, which is full of the original wildness of Gabbeh and was originally made for home use, is a rare and unique piece, especially because there are rarely similar pieces. The fabric is firm, soft, and sinks in, and is made of smooth, lustrous wool. The tassels at both ends have some lifting, but this is a characteristic of this item. It is made of finer yarn than basic Gabbeh, and has a firm, comfortable feel when stepped on, with a full weave. We have carefully selected items that are in good condition, but we dare to have some parts that have the charm of age, such as worn parts, distorted shapes, and blotches, etc. Please appreciate them as a taste not found in new items.
