Description
| It's where life and destiny are made You will surely meet your loved ones again One day, exhausted from work, Pia meets the owner of a bookstore who is sleeping comfortably. Sleeping with him, she gradually regains her peace of mind. The bookstore owner writes books that make people sleepy when they read them, and thanks to this, Pia is able to sleep again. In gratitude, Pia builds the bookstore owner a vehicle that allows him to move around in his sleep, but sadly, there is an accident with the vehicle and he is gone. Unable to sleep again, Pia decides to repair the vehicle and visit him in order to see him again. However, the moment she completes the vehicle, she is again overcome by a strong feeling of sleepiness. When he wakes up, he finds himself in [the place where life and destiny are made].... To those who were hurt and cried at the sudden separation. I drew this book in the hope that it will bring a little hope to those who hold it in their hands. -From the author [Comment from the editor] The main character, Pia, experiences encounters and partings on her journey to understand how she was born. This work is about life, destiny, and rebirth. When we lose someone we love, we sometimes cannot help but think of the memories and bonds we have with that person. It is precisely at such times that I want you to open this picture book. It will gradually ease the pain in your heart. *Attended age range: middle elementary school students to adults About the Author Kaoru Numa Lives in Osaka A [drawing diver] who started drawing illustrations of the sea after diving began as a hobby. A sad event in my family inspired me to draw picture books as medicine for the heart. |
