In graduate school, he did fieldwork while living in the Tateshina Highlands villa area for one year. He sought a way of living in harmony with wild animals and proposed it in this work. Graduated from Osaka University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Architecture, and completed graduate studies at the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Engineering, Department of Architecture.
