Description
A new classic at-home picture book that both children and adults will love! A picture book about environmental issues with a &happy ending! Tono-San, a frog, can no longer live in his tambo because the water in the tambo has run out. Looking for a new place to live, Tono-San participates in a house tour by a frog robot. He meets one nice house after another and decides to live in one with a sauna. However, he is soon almost eaten by a heron! Tono-San escapes with his life and finds a place to live called "Round Tambo". Is the round paddy a good place for Tono-San to live? I hope that the environment will be protected and more places will be created where frogs and ningen can coexist in harmony. [The [round tambo] that appears in the picture book does not actually exist, I would like to create a round tambo in the future. I want to respect the natural environment and preserve the Japanese culture of rice cultivation*satoyama]. (from the author) *Winner of the Glittering Future Award of the Picture Book Publication Award*. [Comment from the editor]. While the story is based on environmental issues, the search for a house is fun, and the story has a happy ending. The author, a house designer, draws frog houses that even "ningen" would like to live in! I hope that parents and children will enjoy reading the afterword and "Q&A about Frogs" as well. *Target age: 4 years old and up About the Author muu Designer*Picture book author Born in Chiba Prefecture.
