Frog lover since childhood. When she was a student, she became even more interested in frogs and their habitats when she learned that the number of frogs in her neighborhood was rapidly decreasing. Based on her work [Maru Tanbo], which won the 12th Picture Book Publication Award's Shimmering Future Prize, she created this work and published it for the first time. She draws on her career as a house designer and her experience growing rice without pesticides in her creative work. |
