| [SALIU ] YAMA SAKURA Suketo-cho, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture, has long been known for its excellent timber, and is also known as the home of the sacred tree for the Ise Jingu Shrine ceremony. SALIU YAMASAKURA's production factory is located in this mountain village rich in nature, where locally grown wild cherry trees are purchased in their raw state and all processes are carried out until they become finished products. SALIU works together with the factory staff from the lumbering stage so that the wood can be used without waste. The hardwood mountain cherry tree does not produce any stain and has a beautiful bark. 古くから優秀な木材を産出し、 伊勢神宮式年遷宮のご神木の里として知られる岐阜県中津川市付知町。 SALIU YAMASAKURAの制作工場はその自然豊かな山里にあり、地元で育った山桜を原木の状態で仕入れ、製品になるまでの全ての工程をそこで行っています。 SALIUでは木材を無駄なく使いきれるよう、製材の段階から工場の方と共に考え制作しています。 広葉樹である山桜はヤニがでず、木肌が美しいのが特徴です。固くしっかりしているため、傷がつきにくく、使い込むほどにあめ色に育っていきます。
