| [Neo-Garçon" is a new long wallet designed to be more compact while maintaining the functions and charm of the conventional "Garçon" long wallets. The most distinctive feature is the [large, expandable coin pocket]. It can hold about 30 coins. To prevent coins from popping out of the edges, the four corners are secured with caulking. This ensures that the gussets do not protrude outward and keep a stable shape. Bulky cards are stored vertically with a "card slit" cut into the leather. The top half of the card is visible, making it easy to select the card type at a glance. There are five slits on each side. A total of 10 cards can be neatly arranged at equal intervals. In addition, five cards can be placed in the free space at the back, and about 15 cards can be stored in total. The width of the main body is 170 mm, which is about the same size as a 10,000 yen bill. It can hold up to 15 or so bills. The left and right sides are not sewn together, but the leather is softly folded into the structure to create a roomy space. It is designed to hold 15 cards, 30 coins, and 15 bills. Even with this amount of space, the thickness is only about 2.5 cm, and the simple structure reduces the layers of leather to achieve a thinness. Tochigi Leather has the world's largest pit-tanning facilities, with approximately 160 pit-tanks, each of which contains tannin solution made mainly from Brazilian mimosa trees. The skins are moved repeatedly to the pit tanks with different concentrations of tannin, from light tannin concentration to thick tannin concentration, and are slowly soaked over a period of about 20 days. This is exactly where the quality of Tochigi leather lies. After about 20 processes, the skins are transformed into leather. Leather tanned with vegetable tannin is called "Nume leather," and its color and texture change over time with sunlight and hand oil. |

【革について】栃木レザー(ジーンズ)
