We’ve crafted these wooden postcards from [hinoki]—a wood that has long been used to build shrines and temples—and printed them with [ukiyo-e], Japan’s proud art form that has been depicted as a source of enjoyment for the common people since the Edo period. You can easily enjoy them by pinning them to a wall or displaying them in a photo frame. They’re perfect not only as postcards but also as interior accents. They also make great souvenirs for visitors from overseas. Katsushika Hokusai’s [Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji] is highly popular not only in Japan but also overseas. We’ve selected one print each from six different works, including [Under the Wave off Kanagawa], known worldwide as [The Great Wave]. The set includes one copy each of the following six prints: [The Great Wave off Kanagawa], [Shiraame at Yamashita], [Fujimi-hara in Bishu], [Senju in Musashi], [Sundai in Tokyo], and [Shichirigahama in Soshu]. Since they are made from real wood, the grain, texture, and scent are those of the wood itself.
