| Artist Shiho Aikawa's "Seika Ranman" series. Based on the traditional Kutaniyaki technique of "deco-mori" (decorated decoration), the artist combines Japanese and Western paints and adds gold coloring to the finish. This technique is characterized by three-dimensional patterns heaped up using special paints, and gives a sense of boldness and exuberance. It is also called [deco-mori] because the heaping up is uneven.
