As the brand name suggests, the theme is "rain". The leather is hand painted by hand by craftsmen in Japan, and a special film treatment is applied to give it an enamel-like sheen. The leather is scratch-resistant, and a little water or dirt can be quickly wiped off. *Rain-themed colors *[After the rain] This color is inspired by the evening sky after the rain. The color is hand painted with neon pink, neon yellow, cream, neon orange, and pastel blue paints on a light pink-beige Japanese leather with elegant pearls. The foil on the outer leather is pink gold, representing a shining sunset. *[Hydrangea] The color is inspired by hydrangea shining in the rain. Hydrangea, the English name of hydrangea, is derived from the Greek word "vessel of water. Inspired by the intellectual and mysterious charm of hydrangea and the rain that falls during the season of fresh green leaves (Suiuyu), this color gives a sense of fresh vitality. The light gray Japanese leather with fine pearls is hand painted with blue, pastel blue, purple, green, and cream paints. The foil on the outer leather is gold, representing the shine of a wet hydrangea. *[Modern HOKUSAI] is a color that images the night of Asakusa surrounded by rain and [Yamashita Shirasame (white rain)] famous as one of the pictures of Fugaku Sanjurokkei (Thirty-six views of Mt. Fuji) by Katsushika Hokusai. The white rain refers to an evening shower, and depicts a strong bolt of lightning running in the dark and rain at the foot of Mt. Hokusai spent his later years in Asakusa, an area that is also closely associated with our company. The black Japanese leather is painted with metal blue, metal purple, bordeaux, silver, and black paint, creating a strong and powerful, yet urban color scheme. The foil on the outer leather is silver, representing the shine of rain and wet asphalt. *Only one in the world Because it is hand painted, not printed leather, even if the same paint is used, the color pattern and the way the foil is applied varies from one product to another depending on the way the leather is taken, giving each product a completely different look. Each piece is hand-painted in our workshop in Japan, and is unique, one-of-a-kind, and your very own piece of "art". *Warm handwork We had a hand painting session at Hidamari Kobo, Kinshicho Labor Support Center for Continuous Employment Support Type B. Kinshicho Labor Support Center Hidamari Kobo is run by a medical corporation and produces and sells handmade goods. They earn wages not only from leather goods, but also from small cloth goods, knitted goods, beads, etc., making use of their own specialties. This product is made of natural cowhide leather, which has been hand painted and treated with a film. Because of the film processing, uneven colors and scratches that are inherent to the leather are less noticeable, but they are not completely absent. Please understand it as the taste and individuality of natural materials. *The film outside the stitching that sews the film (about a few millimeters) may come off as it is being used. Please understand and acknowledge this in advance due to the characteristics of the product. *The color balance of each item varies depending on the way the leather is hand-painted, not printed. 職人が手作業でハンドペイントした国産牛革を使用し、さらに特別なフィルム加工でエナメルのような艶をプラス。
革に傷がつきにくく、ちょっとした水や汚れならサッと拭き取ればOK！
■雨をテーマにしたカラー
上品なパールが入った淡いピンクベージュの国産レザーに、ネオンピンク、ネオンイエロー、クリーム、ネオンオレンジ、パステルブルーの絵の具を使い、ハンドペイントで表現しました。 表革の箔は、ピンクゴールドで、輝く夕日を表しています。
●「Hydrangea（ハイドランジア）」雨に濡れて輝く紫陽花をイメージしたカラー。
知的で神秘的な紫陽花の魅力や、新緑の季節に降る雨「翠雨（すいう）」からインスピレーションを得た瑞々しい生命力を感じさせてくれるカラーです。
細やかなパールが入ったライトグレーの国産レザーに、ブルー、パステルブルー、パープル、グリーン、クリームの絵の具を使い、ハンドペイントで表現しました。表革の箔は、ゴールドで、濡れた紫陽花の輝きを表現しています。
●「Modern HOKUSAI」は、葛飾北斎の富嶽三十六景の一図として有名な『山下白雨（さんかはくう）』と、雨に包まれた浅草の夜をイメージしたカラーです。
