-Matcha Heze
A collection of charyu's specialties utilizing the craftsmanship of historic kilns and natural materials. -Hyozangama Kiln Hyozangama Kiln has been building kilns in Mino since the Momoyama period (1573-1600). When the kiln presented vessels to Nobunaga Oda, its techniques were praised and the kiln received a red seal of approval for pottery production and the family name of "Hashiba" (Hashiba). The high techniques and sensibility cultivated over the long history of the kiln have been refined in the modern age, and are delivered in the form of vessels. In the charyu style, soft and warm kohiki (powder coating) and kurokaki (black persimmon) glaze with red and brown shimmering in deep black are applied to the hard-fired red clay to create a dignified atmosphere. |
