カラフルで華やかな色使いのカシュカイ族のキリム。イラン南西部、ザクロス山脈の麓で、現在も遊牧生活を続けるカシュカイ族は、トルコ語に近い言葉を話す部族で、キリムの織りの文化も比較的トルコに近いテイストで、ユニークな幾何学模様がたくさん登場します。
目が詰まってしっかりとした織り地。カタチに多少のゆがみがありますが、手織りならではの味わいです。
