このボトムスは、15年以上の超ロングセラー。
すっきり細身のパンツでありながら、着心地やsisamらしいゆとりを取り入れたデザイン。

「こだわり詰まったデザイン」
とにかく脚を縦長に、キレイにみせてくれるパンツ。
肝心な穿き心地ですが、ウエストがゴム仕様なのでリラックス感あり。
なのに腰回りはキレイに見えるすっきりさを兼ね揃えた、考え抜いたパターンのパンツ。
腰やヒップ周りを最小限に小さく、ひざから下はすとんとしたストレートシルエット。
ハリ感のある中厚手生地と相まって、体型を拾いにくいのもポイントです。
楽なのにキレイ、キレイなのに楽。しつこいようですが、それがこのパンツの推しポイントなんです。
スタイリッシュに見えるラインのなかに、あくまでもsisamらしい「ゆとり」や「心地よさ」を残しました。

定番のアイテムは、生産者も作り慣れているので楽しんでミシンをかけてくれているそう。
鼻歌を歌いながら、縫製してくれている様子が浮かびます。
生産者がたのしく作ってくれた一枚と思うと、着る側も嬉しくなりますね。

経糸二本に対し、緯糸一本を織り込んだ平織の厚手生地。
程よいハリ感と厚みを活かし、ボトムに適してます。
＜少しずつ愛されて、15年。＞
「細いパンツを作ってほしい」
今から10年以上前のこと、店長会議であがった一声が、すべての出発点でした。
それまでsisamのパンツは、とにかくゆったりめのものが主流。
「ワンピースの下に穿けるようなパンツがあれば、もっと着こなしが広がるのに。」
「細身のシルエットが好みの人にも、フェアトレードのパンツと出会ってほしい。」
当時のデザイナーは、そんな要望に応えるべく、パンツ研究に明け暮れました。
あくまでもsisamらしい「ゆとり」や「心地よさ」を残したデザインに。
いくらスタイリッシュに見えても、穿きにくければ私たちが作りたいパンツにはなりません。
そんなデザイナーの想いと、ネパールの作り手の技術が組み合わさり、ようやく2011年に「ストレートパンツ」が誕生したのです。
ドキドキのデビューは、すぐには思い通りにいきませんでした。
「細め」というだけで、敬遠する人は少なくありません。
デビューに花を添えるきっかけとなったのは、お店の試着室。
