| [ Image of Nijushiki Kurumibutton Brooch : Summer Solstice ] This embroidered brooch features motifs selected from each of the 24 solar terms of the Japanese calendar, the 72 solar terms of the Honcho period, which was a calendar deeply rooted in the lives of the people of Edo. For the motif for the 24 solar terms of summer solstice (around June 21 to July 6), we chose iris (iris petals) from the 72 signs of the Japanese calendar of this period. The summer solstice is the day when the sun's power is at its highest, as written "leading up to summer. It is the day when the sun rises farthest to the north, the daytime is the longest, and the night is the shortest. MiSuZuYa's embroidered brooches are entirely produced in-house, from design to embroidery * wrapping process. Although machine embroidery is used, the texture and warmth of the threads are important to us, and we pay particular attention to embroidery data production and thread selection for the texture of our products. In addition to the animal motifs that have been popular in the past, this time the first series of "Nijushisekki Kurumi-button Brooch" was created with the motif of Nijushisekki Honcho 72-zyo (the 72 seasons of the 24th day of the 4th lunar month). The four seasons, nature and customs of Japan are carefully expressed in small embroidered brooches. The motifs that accompany each of the seasons, spring, summer, fall, and winter, blend in softly with both Japanese and Western clothing, and are perfect for daily coordination or as a gift. Enjoy the changing seasons of Japan with these palm-sized walnut buttons. The metal fittings on the back are painted antique gold, and the material of aluminum is suppressed so as not to disturb the texture of the fabric. MiSuZuYa and [MADE IN TOKYO] are laser engraved. The paint will not peel off easily due to the baked-on coating. The size of the walnut button is 35mm. The brooch pin is 20mm in size and is secured with doves.
