This traditional technique has been used since the Middle Ages, and the light spilling from the work reflects on the wall, creating an exotic atmosphere. The design is simple, with a thick disk shape and countless dots. While it looks like an inorganic industrial design, the unevenness of the dots, which are opened by hand, gives it the warmth of a handmade product. When not lit, the luster of the metal and the three-dimensionality give it the image of an objet d'art. When lit, soft light spills out from the holes in the pattern, creating a fantastic image. *The pattern*design may differ from the image and may be slightly distorted due to the handcraftsmanship of the craftsman. メタルを薄く加工し、コンコンと小さな穴をあけて光をデザインするランプシェードを作りました。中世から作られて来た伝統的な技法で、細工からこぼれる光が壁に映り、エキゾチックな雰囲気を楽しめます。
厚みのある円盤形に、無数のドットでシンプルなデザイン。無機質なインダストリアルデザインのようでもありながら、手作業で開けられたドットの不ぞろいな具合には手作りのあたたかみが感じられます。
灯りをつけないと金属の光沢と立体感でオブジェのようなイメージです。
点灯すると穴を開けた模様からやわらかい光がこぼれ幻想的なイメージになります。
※職人の手仕事で細工をしておりますので個体により柄・デザインが画像とは異なり、多少歪みなどがございます。外装は無垢のメタルを磨き上げ、メッキで塗装しております。
