This traditional technique has been used since the Middle Ages in Cairo, Egypt*. The light spilling from the work reflects on the wall, creating an exotic atmosphere. This unique form, named Pagoda, requires particular skill in shaping and is made by the hands of highly skilled craftsmen. We recommend hanging it in a high ceiling space such as a stairwell, or hanging it low as an object to enjoy the shadows on the wall. The body color is shiny silver. Even when not lit, it creates a unique interior space. *The pattern* design may differ from the image and there may be some distortion due to the handcrafted work of artisans. メタルを薄く加工し、コンコンと小さな穴をあけて光をデザインするランプシェードを作りました。エジプト・カイロで中世から作られて来た伝統的な技法で、細工からこぼれる光が壁に映り、エキゾチックな雰囲気を楽しめます。
パゴダと名づけられたこのユニークな形は、特に形を成形する技術が必要とされ、技術の高い職人の手によって作られます。吹き抜けなど天井高のあるスペースに吊るすほか、低く吊るして壁に映る陰影を楽しむオブジェとしてもおすすめです。
ボディカラーは光沢のあるシルバー色です。
点灯させていないときもインテリアとして個性的な空間を演出してくれます。
※職人の手仕事で細工をしておりますので個体により柄・デザインが画像とは異なり、多少歪みなどがございます。外装は無垢のメタルを磨き上げ、メッキで塗装しております。
