メタルを薄く加工し、コンコンと小さな穴をあけて光をデザインするランプシェードを作りました。中世から作られて来た伝統的な技法で、細工からこぼれる光が壁に映り、エキゾチックな雰囲気を楽しめます。
厚みのある円盤形に、無数のドットでシンプルなデザイン。無機質なインダストリアルデザインのようでもありながら、手作業で開けられたドットの不ぞろいな具合には手作りのあたたかみが感じられます。
エジプトの職人が一つ一つ叩いて作った金属製のランプシェードです。
コツコツと叩きながら1枚の金属板を徐々に立体へ仕上げていきます。最後に模様の穴を開けて完成です。
一つ一つ微妙にサイズが違ったり、模様が違うところが手作りならではの魅力です。
灯りをつけないと金属の光沢と立体感でオブジェのようなイメージですが、点灯すると穴を開けた模様からやわらかい光がこぼれ幻想的なイメージになります。
※職人の手仕事で細工をしており、穴の位置などが均一でない箇所がございます。ボディカラーは光沢のあるシルバー色です。
無垢のメタルを磨き上げた商品ですので、時間の経過により表面が黒ずんでくることがあります。
※配線・ソケット等、日本でご使用可能な状態に加工済みです。
