| Fukiiboku - Fuji and Moon Rabbit [Fuki sumi is one of the traditional decorating techniques used for underglaze blue porcelain, Fuki sumi is a traditional decoration technique for dyed porcelain, in which gozu (indigo blue) is sprayed like a mist to depict softly in shades. Since ancient times, auspicious designs such as "Mount Fuji" and "Moon and Rabbit" have been favorably drawn. *Fuji (for good health), moon and rabbit (for immortality and rebirth) We hope you will enjoy this gem of glassware, which is made by drawing these patterns with modern technology and copying them onto the glassware using transfer paper. |
