日本人が想像もしない使い方をするインドの包丁です。私達の常識の中にある包丁は、包丁自体を野菜などに押し付けて切りますが、このインドの包丁はその逆で、野菜や魚を包丁に押し当てて切るのです。
包丁に材料を押し付けて切る包丁なんて、さぞかし使いづらいだろうと思うのですが、意外や意外、インド人たちは器用に使っています。
