21世紀に入ってからも伝統的なキリム織りの技法を受け継ぎ、織り継がれているカイセリ地方のキリムです。明るい色使いと、大胆な幾何学柄のデザインで、トルコキリムといえばこんな感じ！とイメージされる方も多いのでは？
似ているデザインのキリムがあっても、細かなところは色やサイズ、形などがそれぞれ異なっていて、どれも世界で一枚だけの手織りキリムです。
織り地がしなやかでやわらかいのがカイセリキリムの特徴です。やや厚みがあり（6mm前後）、しっかりとしたウールの重みが感じられます。モチーフの色の切り替え部分には、キリムの織りの特徴で、縦に隙間が開いています（スリットと呼んでいます）。全体のカタチのゆがみが多少ありますことをご了承ください。
