The oval shape makes the dishes look stylish just by serving them, and the raised rim balances the dishes well. Each shape is available in two types: "shinogi" with relief engraved on the rim and "plain" with a simple composition. Shinogi" accents the dining table and makes it more gorgeous even when just one piece is inserted. The simple plain type accepts a wide range of dishes and is an easy-to-use item that can be easily combined with other dishes. The Rondo series has a kiln-formed glaze that softly raises the rim edge and relief, creating an antique-like texture. Kiln-altered glaze is characterized by the position and timing of firing, and the amount of glaze applied by hand by the craftsman, which tends to bring out some individuality.
