Description
| Afghan Accessories Afghanistan is a multi-ethnic country consisting of many ethnic groups including the Pashtuns and Tajiks. Among them, the nomadic Kuchi people, who live mainly in western Afghanistan and straddle the border of Pakistan, are known for their gorgeous and gorgeous costumes with large jewelry and accessories sewn on them, as well as for their fine appearance. Their jewelry is characterized by large, heavy metal pieces inlaid with colored glass and glittering, uniquely designed accessories. In the past, these accessories had gold or silver bases inlaid with numerous gemstones or real coins were used as parts. This was a unique nomadic concept, as jewelry could be worn as possessions or used as decorations for costumes, allowing for safe transportation. Today, materials have changed to metal and glass, but traditional accessories incorporating arabesque designs still have a mystical appeal. |
