音楽ジャーナリスト、音楽評論家。東京音楽大学卒業。レコード会社、ピアノ専門誌「ショパン」編集長を経てフリーに。クラシック音楽をより幅広い人々に聴いてほしいとの考えから、音楽専門誌だけでなく、新聞、一般誌、情報誌、WEBなどにも記事を執筆。 アーティストへのインタビューの仕事も多く、もっとも多い年で年間70名のアーティストに話を聞いている。クラシックは「生涯の友」となり得るものであるとの信念のもと、各アーティストの演奏、素顔、人生観、音楽観を自分の言葉で人々に伝えることに全力を傾けている。
